2023-24 Annual Report

The Road Safety Camera Commissioner Annual Report 2023–2024 has been tabled in the Victorian Parliament and provides an account of the work of the Office of the Road Safety Camera Commissioner throughout the 2023–24 financial year. 

The report provides an overview of the Commissioner’s annual review of the performance and quality assurance of the accuracy and reliability of road safety cameras over the last year.

These include:

• six new recommendations made by the Commissioner for consideration by the road safety partners
• ongoing reconciliation and acquittal of the Commissioner’s recommendations
• monitoring and oversight of issues affecting the road safety camera system
• the first 12 months hyper care period of enforcement with new distracted driving and seatbelt enforcement technology
• research and analysis of trends in community perceptions of road safety cameras
