On Tuesday, 10 March 2015, I announced I will be conducting an investigation into three fixed road safety cameras operating in 40km/h speed limit zones. The three camera locations are:
- The intersection of Warrigal Road and Batesford Road, Chadstone,
- The intersection of Fitzroy Street and Lakeside Drive, St Kilda, and
- The intersection of Exhibition Street and Victoria Street, Melbourne.
Due to additional complaints made to my office, this investigation will be extended, to include the fixed road safety camera monitoring west bound traffic along Flinders Street, at the intersection of William Street in Melbourne.
This investigation will take some time to complete, and upon its completion, a detailed report will be published on my website and promulgated through the media.
This investigation was concluded on 10 August 2015. You may find the full text of the report here.
